Journey into The World of the Honey Bee
Description
Join us as we journey into the world of the honey bee. Discover why honey bees are very important to humans and other animals. Explore their life cycle, their habitats, their survival skills, and how their efforts impact our world. We will observe bee hive components, equipment and tools to provide hands-on learning. We will discuss our roles as beekeepers and understand how bee hives are structured. Together we learn about the amazing world of the honey bee.
Requirements
- Suitable for students Grade 1 and up.
- Maximum class size: 25 students.
- Each session is 45 minutes long with a 15-minute break in between for set up and clean up.
- Sessions can start as early as 8:00am.
- A cart must be available to transition from classroom to classroom.

- Cost: $100 per one 45-minute session.
